Went to bed, all was working. Got up in the morning and could only connect to the local machines, no internet. Asus WL520GU MAC address for modem (Comcast cable) is entered. Ran set up and re-set the router and modem 3 times. Manually added DNS servers. Turned off all firewalls and security. Re-started all computers.

Now there are two scenarios; one where you are connected to the internet using the router but cannot access the router itself and the other where you are unable to access a brand new router. In case of a brand new router, you should refer to its documentation or see the backside of the box to check the correct IP address.
