Sep 02, 2018 · The phone no. no longer worked when I called right back and now today, the supposedly legitimate company's phone does not work. TeamViewer is on my desktop. It was not there before. I have a TeamViewer log on my computer. It was active in March 2017 and then the last couple days. Should I get rid of TeamViewer completely?

It MAY work if one's outbound filtering firewall does not do HTTPS deep packet inspection. With my WatchGuard firewalls and HTTPS/DPI enabled, TeamViewer will not work. I've googled around and found some forum post links from 2 years ago (!!!!) of people having the same issue, stating that TeamViewer does not LONG PRESS , but instead it presses multiple times the same key while holding it down. Sorry to hear you’ve got problems getting TeamViewer to work.
